Scriptrail is a local-first teleprompter and recorder for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

Data Collection

Scriptrail does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. It does not create an account, use analytics, or include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

Local Processing

Scripts, settings, recordings, speech recognition, and camera processing stay on your device. Voice tracking uses on-device speech recognition and does not upload audio.

Permissions

The app requests camera, microphone, Photos add-only, Documents folder, and speech recognition access for teleprompter reading, recording, and voice-following scroll. These permissions are used only for the features they support.

iCloud Drive

If you choose a folder in iCloud Drive or another cloud-backed folder, Scriptrail reads and writes files through the system file picker and file coordinator. Scriptrail itself does not operate its own cloud service.
